Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the marketing organization by developing emails and email templates within the SalesForce Marketing Cloud environment
  • Develop customer journeys within SFMC which enhance the consumer’s experiences while interacting with us in the digital space
  • Partner with broader marketing and design teams to discuss email marketing best practices and identify opportunities to test and optimize marketing performance
  • Review email code and remediate and issues found during review while leveraging tools such as Litmus
  • Update and help manage team documentation as needed
  • Assist with developing and executing email campaigns in an accurate, efficient manner consistent with marketing strategy, campaign objectives and digital / email best practices
  • Contribute to projects that advance our email marketing capabilities and strategy; interfacing with other teams and external vendors with the purpose of finding the best solution to meet objectives
  • Build and manage relationships and project work with both internal partners (Creative, Marketing, Sales, Legal / Regulatory, Data & Analytics, etc.) and with external vendors (Salesforce, Adobe, Litmus) to build and execute effective email campaigns
  • Willing to be flexible and work with ambiguity
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision; results driven

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of professional email design experience (using Adobe Dreamweaver, Litmus Builder, Moveable Ink or other tools)
  • 3+ years of experience with SFMC or similar ESP and its integrated solutions
  • 3+ years managing and prioritizing several deliverables
  • 1+ years of B2B and/or B2C direct marketing
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
  • Responsive Email / Front-End Developer experience (HTML, CCS, AmpScript)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AMPscript language to allow highly targeted, dynamically driven emails to be delivered across an audience or segment based on preferences and attributes
  • Experience with email and web analytics / reporting tools
  • Experience with an inbox placement solution, e.g., Litmus, to improve email deliverability and increase email marketing ROI
  • A background in journey mapping within Journey Builder in SFMC as well as experience using Automation Studio
  • Coding for accessibility standards - W3C and Sec. 508 guidelines

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
