New Construction Mission: Help buyers find the best possible home by improving the shopping experience for New Construction while enabling builders to market their homes with a greater return on investment.

About the role

The New Construction SAE team is hiring, and we are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment. The role of the Senior Account Executive guides Zillow Group’s Top 200 Home Builders to success using Zillow Group’s Promoted Communities and Boost platforms. Through client motivation, education and engagement, the Senior Account Executive will help some of our top paying clients generate a return on every investment they make with Zillow Group. This person will embody qualities of a leader and a high level sales executive.

This position is a key revenue driver for Zillow Group, with the ultimate task of executing an aggressive sales strategy which is reflected by a similarly aggressive and generous compensation plan.

The Senior Account Executive responsibilities are:

  • 100% Align and Represent Zillow Group’s Core Values

  • Manage a book of business that consists of high spending and very engaged clients

  • Provide world class coaching and education to our top Home Builders

  • Grow and retain an assigned book of business with required quarterly net growth goals

  • Facilitate positive client experiences through your expertise of system & processes

  • Prepare and perform client Performance Consultations demonstrating the value of Zillow/Trulia based on the client’s needs

  • Identify upsell opportunities for additional communities and additional ad products

  • Be an expert in the local real estate market landscape and advocate best practices as it pertains to top Home Builders

  • Engage with your Strategic Account Specialist daily to come up with ways to continue to serve your clients with the highest level of service while solving any issues that arise.

  • Ability to navigate multiple browsers and programs including product demos, Salesforce, sales dashboards and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Meet and exceed assigned sales quota

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.

In Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City the standard base pay range for this role is $63,100.00 - $100,900.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role are eligible for incentive compensation and equity awards. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • 5+ years B2B sales and account management experience, media selling preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to grow revenue and retain engaged clients

  • Experience managing subscription-based accounts

  • Experience in managing a book of business of $300k or more in monthly reoccurring revenue

  • Comfortable with a high energy, productivity driven sales environment

  • Account Management background specific to B2B products & services

  • Ability to manage complex sales process that may include multiple decision makers and influencers

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30-50% of the quarter

  • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and internet proficiency a must

  • B.S. or B.A. degree required
