Our next Vice President, New Business will be an integral part of our growing Sales team, building new relationships with the world’s best businesses and brands.

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Working closely with our executive leadership, marketing and sales teams to generate leads, open conversations, identify opportunities and cultivate relationships with ambitious business 
  • Owning an individual revenue target of $2M+ focused on new client relationships
  • Growing ongoing smaller engagements into large long term partnerships (target $1M+ in annual revenue)
  • Setting and executing on a targeted sales strategy that includes account-based marketing and referral partnerships
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop best in class content and events, focus lead generation efforts and build the Modus brand 
  • Supporting the commercialization and scaling of new services and offerings
  • Representing Modus at industry and hosted events
  • Nurturing a growth culture across the Modus organization 
  • Managing and mentoring junior sales team members

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 8+ years experience in professional services, with 4+ years in sales (ideally a mix of product and consultative selling) 
  • Strong emphasis in technology, design, digital marketing or a mix of all three 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong leadership, managerial, and customer relationship skills
  • Experience pricing projects and negotiating contracts
  • Global team management and remote team management experience
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and independent self-direction, along with a desire for team collaboration and open communication.
