Sr Paid Search & Social Media Manager 🔥


Position Description: The Sr. Media Manager is responsible for managing all offline and online Media functions in support of the Sears Home Improvement business.

The Sr. Media Manager is responsible for generating targeted plan appointments and net revenues annually for Home Improvement from all online and offline marketing media sources. Oversees $50MM+ marketing budget and ensures execution of media plans and monitoring media buys for all of Home Improvement business Duties & Responsibilities: Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Plans all Home Improvement media and executes plan for all sources, markets and products
  • Creates plans for all paid, earned and owned media supporting all sales channels (e.g. traditional, push, pull, social, etc.)
  • Handles expense budgeting, planning, forecasting and monthly invoice reconciliation for Media sources
  • Owns targeting and testing strategy across all sources, markets and product
  • Coordinates with business units on product, promotion and local market prioritization/weighting
  • Drives cross-selling and partnership initiatives with external vendors and internal business unit partnerships and lead prospecting initiatives
  • Manages procurement and legal contract process for all media vendors
  • Drives emerging channel growth to new lead opportunities
  • Maintains strong communication between marketing teams and business unit leaders
  • Works with procurement and Legal to develop Master Service Agreements (MSA), Statements of Work (SOWs) and/or Terms and Conditions / Insertion Orders (T&Cs/IO’s)
  • Owns media agency/supplier relationships and performance
Job Requirements:
  • Must possess a working knowledge of multiple media channels including digital media, paid search, print, email, direct marketing, emerging media, and be should be proficient in media-related research, planning and analytical tools
  • Must be able to organize, prioritize and manage work flow related to media planning, buying, execution and campaign performance evaluation
  • Experience managing digital media and paid search campaign launches
  • Must possess significant media strategy, planning, budgeting and implementation, digital media reporting and analytics experience with proven results. Ability to determine insights from data that can become an actionable marketing campaign
  • Must possess strategic consulting and leadership ability
  • Ability to establish/maintain good relationships with outside vendors and internal peer groups and work well under pressure
  • Experience working with third-party ad serving tools and media research tools (MRI, Nielsen)
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with working knowledge of cube based reporting programs (Cognos, Crystal, etc.)
  • Must possess strong negotiation skills
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Master's of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Managerial experience with geographically dispersed teams
  • Experience with paid search, including Google AdWords and DART Search; Google AdWords certification Equal Opportunity Employer / Disability / Vet.
