Job Description:

The Role

Crowe is looking for a dynamic performance consultant with experience creating innovative and high impact learning solutions for clients. The primary goals of this position are to provide performance consulting and learning solutions to key clients inside the firm. This role will be specifically focused on both our firmwide learning solutions, as well as technical skill needs for our business areas in the firm. This highly credible individual will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing learning solutions in partnership with leadership and key stakeholders, and the learning and talent development team. Successful solutions are those that are innovative, well-designed and have the desired impact on the skills and performance of our professionals at Crowe. We want to set the standard for learning both internally and externally and are seeking a team leader to make this a reality.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop learning solutions managing subject matter process and interactions which meet the BU needs, are relevant and innovative, and have a high impact on individual and team performance.
  • Design and develop Leadership Development content for all levels within the firm.
  • Serve as an instructional designer on assigned projects, partnering with others on the team (or with contractors providing a specific skill set) to deliver on goals, utilizing an instructional design model and key principles (e.g. ADDIE model) for adult learning.
  • Work on developing programming for the Women Leading@Crowe, DE&I and firm wide Leadership programs. Understanding the unique audiences that each team works on to develop engaging and impactful content.
  • Complete the audience analysis to determine the skills and knowledge needed in the roles.
  • Work collaboratively across internal and external client facing teams to determine relevant content as materials are developed.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once and comfortable with handling changing work requirements.
  • Deliver learning sessions through a variety of mediums including instructor-led, group facilitations, team building exercises, and web-based interactive learning programs.
  • Provide thought leadership on learning trends and drive the design, development and delivery of learning solutions which result in increased capacity for change ranging from instructor-led, virtual, on-line, self-study programs and performance support.
  • Project manage the delivery of the content from inception through execution.
  • Partner with the firmwide functions and business units to determine learning needs of teams and individuals and identify appropriate learning and performance improvement solutions to address those needs by diagnosing and then subsequently prescribing the appropriate learning solutions.
  • Assess and select the best options for content creation (build or buy) decisions, content delivery media and tracking/documentation and analytics for continuous improvement purposes.
  • Secure resources from internal clients for appropriate levels of leadership involvement in curriculum positioning.
  • Work with the Delivery Management team partnering with the business unit learning representatives to secure all resources necessary to deliver on goals including SMEs, instructors or others involved.
  • Develop processes, templates, methodologies that enhance and facilitate team-based and individual learning and performance improvement.

Qualifications

  • Education Required:
    • Minimum - Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Learning or Related Field.
    • And if holds a master’s degree, preferred in Instructional Design, Learning.
  • Deep instructional design skills in all modalities of learning (i.e.: in-person, webinar, e-learning, performance support); Innovative instructional designer pushing the envelope to create individual performance change)
  • At least 3 years of experience developing innovative curriculum, learning paths and learning solutions that support performance requirements, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated success at project leadership and program implementation; Significant learning project management experienced is required.
  • Able to with working on multiple projects at different stages of design.
  • Experience producing learning solutions from initial scoping to solution release.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, excellent at visual design (e.g. infographics)
  • Experience with all current technologies for instructional design strategies: Articulate 360, Rise, Camtasia for SCORM-based digital solutions.
  • Assertive and demonstrated skills in handling difficult conversations, managing stakeholders and translating ambiguous ideas into action; Team Worker with ability to handle conflicts smoothly.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current and emerging trends in technologies, techniques, issues and approaches related to adult learning
  • Familiarity with conducting a needs analysis and creating an implementation plan/design document
  • Experience with virtual learning platforms (e.g. ON24, Adobe Connect, etc) is a plus
  • Experience working with video such as capturing video content and basic editing
