Senior Ruby On Rails Developer 🔥
Join a small team of sharp people who get along! We’re looking for a senior, action-oriented Ruby developer. You’ll work directly with the technical co-founder, have lots of autonomy, and (for the right person) a path into a CTO role.
Two years ago in the Before Times, we left soul-crushing corporate jobs to build a company that would give us more freedom and let us work with high-quality people. It’s been going well! Now we’re in need of a fourth team member who's eager to help us ramp things up.
What we do: We automate email/SMS for small businesses – mostly financial advisors and real estate agents for the time being, but plenty of room for growth in other verticals. When a potential customer reaches out, we streamline the process of getting them onboarded and make sure they don’t fall through the cracks.
Who we are: We are a profitable, remote-first B2B SaaS co-founded by two old friends who have hitchhiked, cliff dived, and traveled the world together. We’ve raised a small amount of funding from TinySeed, but we’re mostly bootstrapped with no need to raise again.
What you’ll work on:
Redesigning our message queue
Improving observability across our system
New features enabled by Twilio’s API
Architecting new analytics features
4+ years of experience with Ruby/Rails
English fluency, verbal and written
Previous startup experience
Nice to have: Experience with Sidekiq, AWS, Docker, Cypress, Javascript, React
Salary: $60-90K
