Copy Manager 🔥
- Lead the development of creative standards, best practice training, and priorities for our copywriting team
- Lead the career development of our copywriting team
- Work closely with creative directors and stakeholders to bring their vision to life with copy that's engaging and on-brand
- Write and edit for a variety of media, including websites, emails, online ads, style guides, social media, and more
- Collaborate with channel owners (e.g. web, email, social) to understand channel-specific best practices and lead the creation of copy that drives conversion
- Work with extended marketing team to analyze, test, and optimize content performance
- Manage multiple projects and timelines
- Guides the creation and optimization of copy and ensures successful integration grammatically across all marketing channels according to brand standards
- Assign brand campaigns, copywriting tickets and ad hoc requests to copy team members
- Ensures brand, tone of voice, writing, and quality standards for all marketing deliverables are consistent and on par with organization expectations.
- Guides team member’s creative projects by suggesting approaches and techniques that improve communication and impact.
- Minimum 5+ years relevant brand, retail marketing, creative agency, freelance or media editorial copywriting experience
- Highly effective at prioritizing projects based on production deadlines and brand importance
- Portfolio of copy work required
- Experience leading/managing/inspiring a team of creatives
- Can defend and rationalize creative decisions and interpret feedback
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task across different projects.
- Ability to work on a wide range of deliverables across every channel, and across different brands and verticals. You’re able to shift tone and voice accordingly.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
