Associate Product Manager, Digital Health & Research 🔥


The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer-fueled organization whose mission is to cure Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and improve the quality of life for the children and adults affected by these diseases. Our work is dramatically accelerating the research process through our varied research initiatives; we also provide extensive educational and support resources for patients and their families, medical professionals, and the public. In addition, we lead federal and state-based advocacy campaigns to support medical research funding and improve patient access to care. Position Summary:

Work cross-functionally to lead products from vision to delivery by connecting the business and technical worlds. Create product roadmaps that align to business strategy and break down complex problems into steps that drive product development. Gather and distill requirements from users, with a focus on both the business need and the user experience.

 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the discovery, development, and delivery of assigned product(s)
  • Create the principles for desired production functionality and designs, and make real-time decisions to ensure the projects are on track to meet business goals
  • Proactively identify ideas to improve products and increase engagement
  • Represent the voice of the customer and balancing business priorities as the Product Owner on an Agile SCRUM team
  • Create mockups, wireframes, product requirements, and other tools to convey feature ideas and gather feedback
  • Write customer-centric user stories, ranking and prioritizing them within the product backlog
  • Manage objectives and key results; make data-driven decisions
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, or quantitative field
  • 2+ years as a product manager and/or product owner with demonstrated success taking a product from strategy to adoption
  • Knowledge of technology and understanding of the product development cycle in an agile environment
  • Understanding of UX principles and applications
  • Excellent problem identification, analysis, and solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly effective at facilitation and leading by influence

 

Preferred

  • 2+ years working in healthcare/life sciences field
  • Experience with clinical data management and/or medical record management
  • Solid understanding of data protection policies like HIPAA and privacy compliance governing cloud-based technologies
  • Comfortable with Jira and other product management tools
