In 2014 we launched our NYC-based real estate brokerage business, The Formation Team, which was recently ranked in the top 1.5% of real estate agents in the nation by RealTrends 2022 Agent Rankings. Our team is a ragtag group of professional nerds with backgrounds in law, consulting, investment banking, engineering, hospitality, and construction. In 2019, we expanded into real estate development and started Eagle Street Development where Daniel Chun, our brokerage team founder, serves as a managing member. It’s our mission to raise the bar in our industry by combining higher levels of education and skill sets with integrity in a way that is unheard of and refreshing to the market.

Role Description

We are looking for a talented and driven Social Media Coordinator/Assistant to manage our social media accounts, including at least: Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

You will work very closely with Daniel Chun and our operations team. Most content creation will be in video form, either directly from Daniel’s phone or a videographer, and you will help coordinate the production of content, come up with and execute on strategy, and distribute across all platforms.

Content will center around Daniel Chun’s personal brand and will naturally expand into real estate content for The Formation Team and for Eagle Street Development. Initially, we expect to distribute these videos on Instagram and TikTok channels. As we go, we intend to post long form videos – How-to and evergreen content – on YouTube.

You will implement best-practices across each platform, manage deliverables from vendors, post content on a schedule, manage engagement, and we will look to you to guide us through new trends, strategies, and any other efforts you believe will spur growth and foster engagement from the community.

We are starting from posting a couple times per month now and want to scale up to a place where we are able to sustainably create and distribute 50-100 pieces of content per month across all channels.

Role Responsibilities

  • Posting content across Instagram, TikTok, and Youtube.
  • Repurposing content according to best practices for each platform.
  • Maintaining a content calendar and keeping on schedule.
  • Coordinating creation of deliverables with all vendors (i.e., videographer/editors).
  • Engaging with the online community.
  • Staying current with new trends on each platform to increase engagement.
  • Draft copy as necessary for each post.
  • Regular reporting and tracking on what works and does not work.
  • Create, execute, and manage a sustainable workflow for distribution of 50-100 pieces of content per month.
  • Build an authentic community of 100k followers in 6 months across IG, TikTok, and Youtube.
  • Daniel is able to freely be himself in creating content; the team takes care of the edits, production, distribution, and management of the video content.
  • 1-3 years experience managing accounts on Instagram, TikTok, and Youtube
  • 10+ hrs per week (ability to grow)
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and followthrough
  • Demonstrative experience working with accounts that have experienced high growth a plus
  • Design experience a plus
  • Copyrighting experience a plus
  • No nights
  • No weekends
  • Social media management: 1 year (Preferred)
