About The Role
Drop is looking for an energetic, engaged Social Media and Influencer Manager with the courage to think disruptively, build creative approaches and execute on social media and influencer strategies.
Drop has a community of millions of mechanical keyboard and audiophile enthusiasts. This person will act as a key player in Drop's efforts to engage and grow our Community and nurture relationships with the influencers that our community values.
The Social Media and Influencer Manager is a full-time position and will report directly to the VP of Sales and Marketing, working closely with other Marketing Managers and cross-functionally across the company.
Drop is a distributed workplace which means none of us work out of an office. This position can be located anywhere in the US or Canada.
Here is what you will do as part of the team:

  • Craft and execute social media strategy that aligns with company initiatives and targets, and meets Drop's customers' expectations
  • Own content strategy and creation, including active engagement on Social Media
  • Manage all @drop content
  • Day-to-day management of all social media activity
  • Develop and execute initiatives including contests, content partnerships, promotions, announcements, and more
  • Collaborate internally and externally to produce high quality, engaging, original content that can be used on all platforms
  • Own budgets for Social Media and Influencer campaigns
  • Build, develop and nurture Drop's strong relationships with influencers and content creators
  • Continuously find and work with new content creators
  • Analyze and report on content and program performance to further improve and optimize future campaigns
  • Collaborate with other functions to plan communication of product launches, -updates, customer service issues and other company announcements
  • Passionate about Instagram, TikTok, and Twitch
  • Highly organized, self-starter with ability to plan and self-manage several tasks and projects
  • +3 years of experience managing social media and/or influencers
  • Comfortable behind and in front of a camera
  • Previous experience in creating content and/or streaming is a plus
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Excellent written communication and a proven track record to successfully inform and influence others
  • Detail oriented, but able to work quickly under tight deadlines
  • Enthusiasm on Mechanical Keyboards and/or Audiophile products is a plus
