As a Business Development Representative with Hedge Trackers, you will be responsible for following up on inbound leads from marketing, as well as prospecting, qualifying and securing appointments for outside sellers within one of the most sophisticated niches of the financial market.


What We Are Looking For:


The Business Development Representative will be a highly motivated and polished self-starter who enjoys identifying and developing new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, contacts, discovery, and individual research. You will possess a dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision-makers and a “get it done” attitude.


Essential Duties:


  • The primary objective will be creating a strong pipeline that will support our sales team to close business and meet our revenue targets
  • Ownership of the front-end of the pipeline and sourcing of new opportunities
  • Thorough research of accounts and identification of key contacts and decision makers
  • Manage data for new and prospective customers within CRM (Salesforce), ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate, and documents are attached
  • Conduct research to identify potential prospects and work with multiple sales team members to cultivate prospect lists
  • Contribute to and execute a strategy to drive new partner acquisition

Skills & Requirements:


  • Deep understanding of inbound follow up and outbound prospecting, including script development, target account management, call coaching, email writing, and usage of social media in prospecting and securing appointments
  • An appetite to learn about this specialized market coupled with a level of motivation to become a leading BDR in this marketspace
  • Impressive verbal and written communications skills. This BDR will dedicate equal time reaching out to prospects via phone and email/social media
  • Proficient with SalesForce, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas and an understanding of sales performance metrics

Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
