Responsibilities:

  • Prospect new business and dig into data across multiple platforms to uncover top targets
  • Answer all inbound inquiries and set up sales calls on behalf of the Business Development Director
  • Attend sales calls and create proposals and contracts on behalf of the Business Development Director
  • Create and manage client accounts, timelines, and project work
  • Create “recap reports” to support renewal efforts
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to encourage growth and increase annual spend for each client
  • Work productively within CRM database for accurate sales tracking and reporting
  • Collaborate with marketing team to drive sales
  • Research, plan and execute ongoing competitive market analysis
  • Attend conferences and networking events to build network
  • Maintain fluency in Ragan’s suite of products and services and how they deliver value in marketplace
  • Support sales leadership team with business-building projects and duties
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrated success with surpassing target sales and retention goals
  • Remote (or option to work in Chicago headquarters)
  • 1-3 years of customer service, sales, or administrative support experience
  • Experience using CRM software and project management tools
  • Efficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence to engage professionally with executive- and C-level contacts
  • Strong customer advocacy with motivation to help others solve problems via product benefits
