Senior Devops Engineer 🔥
By joining the DevOps Engineering team, you’ll experience a wide breadth of technologies and responsibilities that will challenge you each day. On this team you’ll wear many hats: Systems Engineer, Network Engineer, DevOps Engineer, and Architect. It will be nearly impossible to get bored, and we hope that excites you.
What you'd be doing:
- Automate our deployment processes, customizations, upgrades, and monitoring for all our applications
- Guide us to better tools and practices, and champion the adoption of better technologies
- Help us to analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of the various applications
- Develop innovative ways to smartly measure and monitor application and infrastructure health
- Join our team in on-call responsibilities where you’ll identify patterns of troubled services and work with developers to create long-term solutions
We're looking for someone who has:
- Minimum 4 years experience with automation, build systems, and DevOps methodologies
- Wealth of experience with Amazon AWS
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Gitlab, Terraform, Kubernetes, Spring Cloud Config or equivalent technologies
- Extremely self-motivated person with an eye for thoughtfully automating humans out of most equations.
- You feel that whatever the task, there’s probably a better way to do it.
- Can thrive in a 100% remote environment and independently learn new technologies
- Basics in network technologies and acronyms
- Bias towards action
- Strong Python and Bash skills
- Experience with APM’s in the past like Dynatrace, AppDynamics and NewRelic
- Extensive job experience working in a large, mostly automated environment where you’ll pass that knowledge and expertise down
- Extensive knowledge of the Linux operating system
Highly preferred candidates also have experience in:
- Insurtech or Fintech environments
