We are turning the voice AI market around to be consumer and brand-focused, enabling hyper-efficient conversations that enable powerful outcomes. 

We are recruiting experienced strategic partnerships savants to join the revenue team, reporting directly to the Head of Enterprise. In this senior and high visibility role, you will create and drive key elements of SoundHound’s go-to-market strategy and plans. You will identify impactful product and technology partnership opportunities and create plans that create differentiation for the Houndify Platform. This role requires strengths in strategic thinking, business development, analytical & problem-solving skills, cross-group collaboration, and executive communication skills. In this role you will:

  • Leverage internal and external relationships as a trusted advisor to advise complex (e.g., large, high impact) customers and partners on SoundHound’s unique technology and the team’s domain expertise as a sought-out resource for the most capable AI-powered voice assistants in production across multiple lines of business, geographies, and cultures. You will identify key partners and build opportunities to sell with or to these key technology companies to enable them to provide complete AI-powered solutions to brands. 
  • Drive customer and partner industry initiatives and contribute to partners’ and customers’ strategy discussions; influence the product roadmap, prioritization, and customer and partner decision making; look across accounts to identify and address broad issues and trends; drive strategic thinking among the team and foster a culture of customer and partner focus.
  • Quarterback deals direct sales opportunities to increase growth and achieve desired outcomes; anticipate potential issues, raise visibility, and leverage executive relationships to resolve escalations; provide input into recommendations on partners.
  • Build and shares pipeline plans across key stakeholders. Manage pipeline by identifying and promoting, prioritizing, guiding, influencing processes that develop and deliver on pipeline opportunities and optimize resources; prepare information for reporting to key stakeholders, including synthesizing key work for executive consumption.
  • Develop and implement plans for building out your market beyond initial direct and indirect channels. This includes partnering internally to ensure we are ready to deliver unique value and building a sales team that can execute the strategy. Recruit, train, and coach your team to ensure the right skills are brought to identify and close opportunities for SoundHound. 
  • Capture learnings to improve future pipeline and business value communication; course corrects to maximize deal value and manage risk.

We would love to hear from you if:

  • 10+ years of relevant business development, product management, or channels experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team of Account Executives (strategic partnership) professionals leading to demonstrable value creation for the business
  • have led complex successful strategic software partnerships with demonstrable revenue growth
  • excel at building strong internal cross-functional relationships with marketing, product, engineering, sales, legal and leadership teams
  • possess strong knowledge of the enterprise software application ecosystem
  • love and are gifted at quickly analyzing sets of information to yield unique value propositions for prospective partners and customers
  • you enjoy collaborating with an enterprise SaaS company to deliver results
  • you communicate effectively across all levels of companies and the important modes we employ: written, presentations, informal…
  • you are an excellent listener, demonstrated by your depth of knowledge of your prospects and partners; and
  • you are driven to learn and improve
