Job summary
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud computing platform is used by millions of businesses and developers around the world, ranging from start-ups to Fortune 50 enterprises. AWS Marketing is seeking a results-oriented marketing Manager of Digital Marketing to lead a team of marketers to plan and execute marketing campaigns, programs, and content to drive customer engagement with AWS's inbound web-based marketing channels, including the main AWS website, aws.amazon.com. In addition to managing the team, this leader will also be responsible for the team's strategy, charter, , and will drive the strategy, management, measurement, testing, and execution of marketing content to help AWS customers find the cloud computing products and services they need to transform their businesses.

Key job responsibilities
  • Define, prioritize and plan the execution of strategic marketing initiatives to acquire, nurture, and convert leads on aws.amazon.com
  • Conceptualize, build, and execute marketing plans, including creative development, targeting segmentation, and campaign performance analysis
  • Develop, own and track organizational goals, as defined through Operational Planning (OP) process. Communicate progress and work with teams with dependent programs. Ensure delivery of assigned organizational goals.
  • Schedule and secure resources and manage cross-functional teams to deliver to these goals.
  • Establish, refine and implement mechanisms to ensure cross functional alignment and establish clear escalation mechanisms. Identify and manage stakeholder groups, and provide regular business reports to those groups.
  • Manage relationships with executive stakeholders and provide them with regular business updates.
  • Become a SME on AWS Site Merch website inventory and work closely with Product Marketing Managers to facilitate their marketing and content updates on the AWS website.
  • Build adoption plan and lead efforts to scale our internal content ranker tool for AWS console marketing placements.
  • Facilitate stakeholder awareness and learning to insure new AWS products integrate with site marketing inventory.
  • Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates to the marketing organization and other key stakeholders on AWS marketing inventory performance.
  • Ability to dive deep into Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target to recognize trends, or outliers that will help improve AWS marketing campaign and launch performance.

  • Graduate degree in a relevant field, or equivalent related experience
  • Experience with and understanding of the cloud computing landscape.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Analytics, Adobe Test & Target.
  • Experience in data analytics: SQL, Excel, Tableau.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix organization, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with CRM marketing systems
  • Strong sense of brand and editorial voice; the ability to harmonize message across multiple channels and marketing vehicles
  • Highly developed and polished written and verbal communication skills.

The base pay range for this position in Colorado is $125k -169k per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
