SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

The Enrollment Solutions Consultant is responsible for a designated territory to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closures to achieve new business revenue goals. While focusing on prospecting and relationship building, this role will proactively develop new opportunities with key decision-makers to position competitive proposals for Finalsite’s SchoolAdmin enrollment management software.

LOCATION

100% Remote - Anywhere within the US or UK.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Know the people: Understand, relate to, and build relationships with school administrators
  • Understand the market: Enjoy learning and talking about the admissions and enrollment process at schools
  • Listen: Strive to understand what makes each school's process unique. Ask strategic questions
  • Write: Stellar writing in a business-casual voice
  • Organize: Implement processes, details, and databases because they enable excellent personal service
  • Care: Believe in our cause and convincingly share your passion for it
  • Grow: Have a desire to constantly learn and get better. Be open to new selling styles and techniques and be comfortable being critiqued
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and colleagues across Finalsite

OTHER RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Prospect consistently and confidently. SchoolAdmin Marketing will provide generous leads as well, but the ultimate responsibility to find new business is yours
  • Effectively qualify and disqualify prospects. You must be able to ask the right questions to thoroughly understand their process to identify if SchoolAdmin is the right fit using the Sandler sales methodology
  • Consistently nurture opportunities to drive to closure
  • Manage a sales cycle from lead generation all the way through contracts, legal review and driving the signature process
  • Meticulously maintain and update opportunity pipeline in Salesforce, particularly probability to close and close date to ensure forecast is accurate
  • Present engaging demonstrations of our products with an expert level of understanding of functionality and benefits for clients
  • Communicate with internal departments on the expectations set in the sales cycle so each team can deliver those expectations

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • 3 years work experience minimum, preferably within software industry, high-tech start-up and/or school admissions
  • 3+ years in sales, with experience making cold calls
  • Proficient with Salesforce, web meetings (Zoom), PowerPoint, Microsoft Office Products and Google Docs
  • Some Travel Required (approximately 25%)

RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT
