Staff Accountant 🔥
Responsibilities
- Record transactions into the General Ledger, including banking activity, credit card charges, customer invoices, vendor payables and payroll batches
- Responsible for Accounts Payable, including inputting and coding vendor bills, as well as preparing vendor payments for review
- Responsible for customer invoicing, including monthly billing process & invoice requests, Accounts Receivable & collections
- Participate in the month-end close process, including posting journal entries and performing timely balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure integrity and accuracy of the financial statements, such as Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Cash, Credit Card, Prepaids and Accrued Expenses, etc.
- Support compliance and tax filings, including sales tax and 1099s
- Collaborate with stakeholders in and outside of finance to build scalable processes to support growth
- Assist Finance team (including Director of Finance and COO) with ad hoc analytical projects as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Quickbooks Online, Salesforce, Chargeover, and Expensify preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities while adhering to tight deadlines
- Proactive, creative, quick learner, and results oriented
Education & Experience
- 4-year BA/BS degree in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent practical experience
- 1+ years of relevant work experience driving corporate accounting policies and processes
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting
- You are skilled in MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, etc.) and have ability to quickly manipulate and analyze large data sets and build reports
- SaaS or Software Company experience preferred

We will send you the presentation details ahead of time. You will have the chance to gain a deeper understanding of Fond’s product and core values.
