Job Description and Responsibilities:

Softlinx is on a fast growth path with its market leading, Secure Cloud Fax Service business for healthcare and enterprise organizations. We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer who will be responsible for the following task:

  • Work with customers and telephony carriers to provide necessary customer support and troubleshoot service-related problems
  • Provide service account set up and configuration of cloud fax servers for customers and prospects including customer training via web
  • Maintain Support Ticket Tracking System to manage customer problem resolution process and customer support related documentation
  • Be responsive to customer support requests and provide a timely resolution
  • Provide feedback to engineering on product deficiencies and enhancement requests
  • Keep Softlinx customers happy!

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency with technical products and ability to diagnose complex problems
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Pleasant interpersonal skills with customers
  • Being well organized with attention to details
  • 5+ years of experience in a customer service/technical support role
  • Windows, Linux and network administration knowledge and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline

Work Remotely

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

COVID-19 considerations:
All Softlinx' employees are currently working remote from home due to COVID-19 situation. While we plan to reopen our N Reading, MA office partially once COVID-19 situation improves, we keep all alternative options open regarding office policy.

  • Bachelor's (Required)

  • Technical Support: 5 years (Preferred)
