Job Description

We are looking for a Social Media & Marketing Coordinator with a passion for customer engagement, excellent written and communication skills, and a drive to meet tight deadlines in a fully remote position. The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator will play an integral role in growing our presence in social media, as well as expanding and managing affiliate and partner relationships for our brands. An ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently in a fully-remote position but is located within driving distance of Minneapolis, MN.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications (preferred), or equivalent work experience

Job Responsibilities

  • Create graphics and content for social media posts, adhering to brand guidelines and voice
  • Monitor and moderate social media engagement for all platforms and brands
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager on social media and affiliate strategy and promotional calendar planning
  • Stay up to date on social media trends, new technology, and tools
  • Proofread, edit, and publish blog content, ensuring that brand voice is consistent across all channels
  • Update promotions and coupons in our affiliate aggregate platform (Partnerize)
  • Manage new affiliate partner identification and outreach
  • Oversee affiliate and partner performance and content output
  • Leverage Google Analytics to make data-driven decisions for affiliate and social media channel growth
  • Assist Digital Marketing Manager with on-page and SEO content optimization projects
  • Publish monthly press releases on site and press release publishing platforms

Required Experience

  • 1-2 years in a Marketing/Communications support role
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience (a plus)
  • 1-2 years creating graphics and content for social media posts (a plus but not required)
  • Full understanding of social media trends and best practices
  • English Proficiency with exceptional written communication skills
  • Google Analytics experience and the ability to understand KPIs and metrics in order to apply learnings to social media strategy (Google Analytics certification a plus)
  • Familiarity with project management platforms (Asana a plus)
  • Copy editing and copywriting skills
  • Relationship management skills that can be applied to affiliate and paid partnership success
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Confident use of remote meeting tools (Google Meet, Zoom, etc)
  • Comfortable using Google Docs and Google Shared Drives frequently
  • Ability to work independently in a fully-remote setting but is located within driving distance of Minneapolis, MN (preferred)
