Pay: $35 hourly

Part-Time Temporary

24 hours a week (July - December 2022)


Seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Team on a temporary basis to support family leave coverage. The individual in this role would be responsible for taking conceptual design ideas and creating visual representations of them, both electronically and in print. As part of our Creative Services Team, the Graphic Designer will work with our Senior Graphic Designer and Marketing Account Managers to concept and complete assigned projects within our Clients' brand standards and budgets. Our ideal candidate is forward-thinking and dedicated to client success. Must be a self-starter who is able to prioritize the workload effectively, as well as demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment without compromising creativity or accuracy.


  • Design and produce a variety of marketing collateral, including flyers, emails, direct mail, digital assets, and more.
  • Conceptualize creative and cost-effective graphic design solutions for a variety of promotional and marketing campaigns.
  • Advanced understanding of typography, layouts, color usage, branding, photo styling and selection, and design style usage.
  • Apply and advance established brand identity and related creative directions, ensuring consistency with brand positioning and marketing messages across multiple channels.
  • Possess the ability to work efficiently, effectively, and independently to complete assignments in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing tasks and demands, tight deadlines, unexpected delays, revisions, ad hoc requests, and changing priorities.
  • Work as a TEAM with all other departments
  • Attend Active Wellness meetings and training
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor


  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related area.
  • Must provide a portfolio that demonstrates experience and skillset.
  • Strong knowledge of the brand and creative processes and digital best practices in design and communication.
  • Thorough knowledge of prepress processes and print production, as well as all aspects of digital design.
  • Solid, hands-on experience with Adobe Creative, Microsoft Office, Google suites, and Canva.
  • Strong working knowledge of WordPress.
  • Ability to work remotely but collaboratively; must be able to work independently and follow through on assigned tasks with the ability to manage multiple projects and people simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management and ability to deliver in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and well-organized.
