Position Summary:

The duty of a Benco Software Sales Consultant is to partner with customers to bring innovative, value-add software solutions to the independent dental practice. A Benco Software Sales Consultant will work to build the Benco Software sales business, a start-up within Benco Dental, that operates to provide software advice and solutions to dental practices across the United States. This consultant will work to learn the business of the dental industry and the evolving role of software and technology within the US dental practice.

Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?

  • Interest in obtaining a deep understanding of dental practice management software, specifically Open Dental, and other software products.
  • Main sales contact introducing Open Dental & other software products to new leads.
  • Coordinate practice management software sales process (e.g., initial calls, scheduling & conducting demos, coordinating (but not conducting) test conversions, and closing sales).
  • Maintain on-going relationships with software customers.
  • Maintain master list of opportunities for Open Dental and referrals to other software vendors.
  • Organize and engage leads in weekly customer demos for software products.
  • Assist in executing the sales processes and strategies through communication with the sales team.
  • Execute new order entry & coordination with BPS coordinators to begin billing workflows.

Do YOU Meet These Requirements?

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience: 0 to 1 year’s sales experience. Experience in software development or software sales is preferred. Interest in software solutions is required.
