About the Role:

We are looking for a creative self-starter whose superpower is the ability to engage and grow social media audiences so that observers become fans and fans become advocates. This person will be responsible for development and execution of social marketing communications and initiatives that support and build the Braintrust brand in the eyes of our core audiences (Talent and Crypto Enthusiasts) and communities across the globe. These campaigns will cover a broad range: from social-first campaigns, to integrated campaigns across the full marketing mix.

This individual will have a proven success record in developing social and editorial strategy, executing creative development, increasing brand social engagements and partnering closely with cross functional partners. You will focus on executing a global social strategy and content on platform, as well as building brand visibility as a category leader in Web3.

The ideal individual for this role has a strong background in developing creatively led brand-marketing campaigns (across the globe), a deep understanding of the cultural landscape (passion for Web3), a unique passion for problem-solving and developing content that sparks conversation.

This person will also be expert at relationship building: open, tenacious, curious, and a champion for this program of work. Previous experience will have covered social marketing and multi-channel communications planning, using data to identify cultural insights and build compelling strategies for our community content.

Areas of Focus:

Drive, develop, and execute social media strategies for Braintrust owned social channels that support overall Community objectives. This role will report to the VP of Community, and potentially manage individual contractors or community contributors.

Main areas of focus:

  • Drive and develop owned social strategies, execute and iterate on them.
  • Engage, grow and retain brand audiences.
  • Owned Channel Focus and Management:
    • Twitter
    • LinkedIn
    • Youtube
  • Influencer Engagement to grow awareness and drive community membership.
  • Execute against relevant partnerships and events for social media collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Drive an increase in engagement, mentions, impressions, followers/subscribers on owned social channels.
  • Develop and manage the execution of social campaigns.
  • Test influencer marketing programs to build awareness with our core audiences.
  • Build partnerships with other Web3, Freelance and Hiring communities to expand our reach through multi-channel campaigns.
  • Deliver valuable content that is grounded in a solid base of community understanding and structured to deliver data-driven results.
  • Execute against the social editorial calendar, including copywriting, editing, and creative content creation.
  • Partner with the VP, Community to develop and execute against a social media Ambassador program.
  • Develop clear reporting, and deliver insights to optimize our social strategy for greatest impact and resonance.
  • Analysis of cultural, community, media and market trends to inform strategic and creative development for content.
  • Stay on top of up-to-the-minute social media industry trends, competitive landscape, and developments with social platforms. Communicate audience knowledge to the wider team.

You are a creative self-starter with a passion for social marketing, who loves to build and make a mark on big things that matter. You are flexible and agile, and have the ability to ruthlessly prioritize and anticipate short term and longer-term priorities. Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 5+ years experience in social marketing, with at least 1 year in team management experience (managing contracts, ambassadors, contributors, etc.)
  • Deep experience creating content and audience engagement for LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube
  • Bonus: experience with using and managing Discord and Telegram channels
  • You bring fresh ideas to any project or conversation
  • Project management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of social media trends and Internet culture
  • Someone who isn't afraid to take on all kinds of tasks and learn new things
  • A passion for the Internet or Web3 or experience in gaming/crypto
  • Experience using multiple social media tracking software and tools
