Job Description
Are you an ELA teacher or subject matter expert looking for a creative outlet to earn some extra money? A Pass Educational Group is seeking writers, developmental editors, instructional designers, and subject matter experts to create lesson content, assessment items, and course development for ELA grades 3-12. Grades 3-12 ELA classroom experience, course development experience, and assessment development experience a must! This is a 100% remote, work-from-anywhere contract position.
Details:
- Contract, this is an independent contractor position
- $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on role and project
- 3-6 hours/day, maybe some weekends
- 100% remote, work from anywhere position
- An A Pass writing sample is required* to move forward in the application process*
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in education, ELA, or similarly relevant subject area
- Classroom experience at grade level(s) is recommended; 3+ years of classroom experience preferred
- Previous experience writing benchmark-aligned content and assessment items preferred; 1+ years experience with item writing development preferred
- Classroom teaching and Google Drive navigation are distinctly advantageous!
