Remote Creative Director 🔥

As part of the Trax Retail family, we are a unicorn looking to accelerate our growth trajectory as we partner with major brands and retailers, ranging from Ulta Beauty and Unilever to Best Buy and Purina, to transform the way people engage with stores and products, both online and in the physical world.

Shopkick is in search of a creative director. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and challenges the status-quo. You will be responsible for managing a team of talented visual designers, creating impactful campaign assets for partners and Shopkick, driving the brand and content vision forward, all contributing to positioning Shopkick as the leading omni-channel solution that enables brands to reach millions of highly engaged shoppers throughout the purchase journey. Please note – this is a creative design role, not product design, though you will be partnering closely with the product team.

The role is based in the US (remote).

  • Manage and develop a team of visual designers and supervise work by creative team
  • At least 8 years of creative leadership and design experience for a consumer-facing brand or service
  • Proficiency on Mac computers and with Adobe suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Hands-on experience managing a team
  • Deep understanding of visual design to help define and executive a creative vision that spans across the customer experience
  • Excellent communication and organization skills along with attention to detail and time management
  • Must be team oriented with the ability to work collaboratively and responsively to

    rush requests and changing deadlines
  • Experience in UX, product, marketing, and branding
  • Ability to provide clear creative direction and constructive feedback
  • Passion for, and deep understanding of, the marketing, shopper, and retail landscape
  • Solution-orientated who rarely uses the words “I/we can’t”
  • Willingness to fail - but fail fast - and learn from mistakes
  • Familiarity with Monday.com and Salesforce
