Client Services Specialist 🔥
Who are we looking for?
The Client Services Specialist - Provider Enrollment will follow all processes in the pursuit of unpaid claims in a timely matter. Must be able to handle requests from payers and patients timely, must be familiar with PPO, HMO, Medicare, Medicaid, and/or Worker’s Compensation collections processes.
Responsibilities:
- Follow up with Insurance companies, HMO & PPO, Worker’s Comp, and Government payors
- Check claim status on payor websites and Clearing Houses; phone & email communication with payors as needed
- Develop contact with insurance companies, review online capabilities & communicate any updates to Account Manager
- Update insurance information, patient demographics, missing information & document all communication in patient account notes
- Prep payor and patient correspondence and EOB’s to be worked
- Ensure appeals are completed accurately and timely
- Stay informed on changes pertaining to insurance companies & plans, contract terms & changes
- Handle paper billing, mailing, and special arrangement documentation
- Meet daily KPI’s, working appropriate queues, and assist in working backlog in Claims
What’s required?
- High school diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite & ability to navigate multiple software programs
- Excellent organizational skills, multitasking & detail oriented
- Professional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Team player with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
