The Marketing Copywriter will join in our mission of helping businesses succeed online. They will assist team members across the organization in creating content for specific channels that will engage customers/prospects, build our brands, and be the steward of our brands’ voices.

The Marketing Copywriter will partner with graphic and visual designers to deliver campaign concepts, paid media advertising, social media advertising, emails, banners, and whatever other communications come from our family of brands. They will work on world-class brands such as: Bluehost, Web.com, Domain.com as well as many others.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and edit writing deliverables from team members across the organization and provide quality control to ensure all content maintains high-quality standards (copy that is on-strategy, on-brand and on-voice)
  • Collaborate with our studio of designers to marry copy and design seamlessly and make the most of our visual content in a variety of channels, from top-level campaign concepts, to paid media advertising/social media and everything in between
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects and meet required deadlines
  • Interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts
  • Create compelling conversion-focused marketing copy that clearly explains what our products and services are and how they solve the problems of our target audience
  • Write, edit, and approve copy for website content, video scripts, blog articles, ads, emails, sales collateral, etc.
  • Understand our products and value proposition, and how to best communicate that to the various markets we serve
  • Use relevant data, keywords, and SEO best practices to improve visibility of content and drive inbound organic traffic to our online platforms

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field with a focus in Marketing, Communication, or Journalism preferred
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience in Marketing/Communications and/or Copywriting/Content Creation producing copy for digital and print channels
  • Well-organized, self-directed and attention to detail
  • Excellent writing, editing and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment
  • Understanding of the content production cycle
  • Ability to take a B2B message and humanize it through your words & tone of voice.
  • Ability to distill a creative brief down to a headline, subhead, and 75 words of copy that will get noticed and get the job done.
