Customer References Program Manager - What You'll Do?
Data Center Networking Marketing Team is seeking a passionate individual who will manage customer experience programs, including customer references and the data center networking presence on .com. This is a highly visible role that requires a self-starter and a creative intellect with the ability to think strategically yet act tactically in order to drive long-term success as well as oversee day-to-day operations.
The program encompasses vetting customer testimonials, references and case studies in support of key marketing programs and campaigns, PR, thought leadership, brand initiatives and event activations. The ability to navigate priorities and drive a coherent overall plan with demonstrable results is critical to the success of this role.
The chief areas of responsibility for this role include:
• End-to-end project management of customer reference program, including planning and directing the creation, editing, tracking, promotion and impact measurement of core reference assets (i.e. videos, case studies, infographics, eStories, interactive PDFs).
• You will work closely with global internal stakeholders from sales, the business unit, marketing, and other cross-functional teams and vendors to determine customer reference program strategy.
• You must have a demonstrated ability to position and promote reference content to drive awareness of technology products, solutions and services to diverse audiences (i.e. web, blogs, other social promotions).
• In this position you will be engaging with executive-level customers. Its paramount to ensure customers' needs are met when participating in the Customer Experience Reference Program.
• Ability to understand sales and marketing programs/activities and insert alignment.
• Be able to create a detail-oriented plan for achieving specified results, with a regular cadence of meetings reporting progress towards goals.
• Manage customer references at large-scale global events. Act as the overall project manager working closely with the events team, production, and logistics of customer participation.
• Proven track record in distilling complex technology constructs into simple, impactful and compelling outbound and inbound messaging and promotions.
Marketing Program Manager: Who You Are?
• You have 7-10 years of experience in marketing program management. Experience working with customers, sales and business unit organizations.
• Excellent organization and project management skills (editorial calendars, deadlines, vendor/agency management, budgets).
• A creative thinker who can bring new and fresh ideas to reference management.
• Superb written and oral communication skills - experience building marketing collateral a plus.
• Comfortable collaborating with global/regional/local colleagues as part of a virtual team.
• Has the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy.
• Able to resolve problems under pressure without conflict, as well as anticipate change and redirect efforts as necessary.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or equivalent.
