Instructure is a fast-paced organization with a smart and dedicated Elevate K-12 Analytics team, who is looking for like-minded individuals to come aboard. Having recently joined the Instructure team, Elevate K-12 Analytics solutions continue to grow, therefore we are seeking an experienced Customer Success Manager focused on our analytics solutions to help manage our expanding customer base.
The Customer Success Manager will work closely with our existing installed customer base as well as new customers during and post implementation. You will be accountable for overall customer satisfaction, act as an internal advocate for the installed base, and have an opportunity for services upsell to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record of customer success management within the software industry. Any experience with data analytics would be preferred, but not required.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Consistent and proactive communication with customers who have implemented our solutions;
  • Understand each customer’s vision, goals, and usage of Elevate K-12 Analytics and help them find success with the tools
  • Recommend and implement ideas for increased adoption, best practices, and utilization of system capabilities;
  • Work closely with newly implemented organizations to ensure customers receive adequate assistance with change management and essential product knowledge;
  • Effectively assume responsibility for organizations post implementation;
  • Perform regular account reviews with key customer stakeholders;
  • Upsell services to existing customer base;Accountable for maintaining a high percentage renewal rate;
  • Advocate for the customer base with internal teams;
  • Communicate product releases and enhancements and how those can increase customer’s usage and realized value
  • Suggest product enhancements on a consistent basis to the product management team;
  • Elevate issues and at-risk customers to management as needed;
  • Travel as needed

Skills and Experience Needed

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Customer Success or similar role for an application or software-as-a-service (SaaS) company;
  • Proven ability to create high levels of customer satisfaction;
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders;
  • Prioritize and effectively escalate customer issues;
  • Ability to creatively and thoughtfully solve problems;
  • Track record of being able to find and recommend additional products and services to existing clients;
  • Strong executive presence;
  • Ability to proactively connect with others on a consistent basis;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both internally and externally with customers;
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail; ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities;
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
