JOB SUMMARY:
Sells technology and/or other services over the phone, by email, and via web-based presentations. Responsible for managing a client book and proactively reaching out to ensure client satisfaction/retention while continuously hunting and closing new business. Brings on new business, hits sales quotas, and embraces the challenges that come with outbound prospecting in a competitive market.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas

Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting, engaging, closing and hand off to implementations.

Unearth new sales opportunities by calling into a specified customer base. Work with Inside Platform Sales team to identify potential migration opportunities within their current pipeline

Present/demonstrate migration options to current customers using tools provided

Provide professional Post-sales handoff to designated implementation team.

Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs

Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming for customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation

Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data

In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:

Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including World Wide Business Standards.

Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Exceptional Sales background
  • Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • A business acumen
  • Enthusiastic and passionate

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 years proven experience as a quota caring sales professional or global equivalent, or in other sales
  • Current or previous Sales Development Representative
  • BS or BA in business administration, sales, or marketing
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of Salesforce is a plus

COMPENSATION:
The posted range for this position is $42,741- $60,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
This position is eligible for a 50/50 commission target.
