The Opportunity*
We are looking for Staff Accountant who will be primarily responsible for the
daily accounts payable function, fixed assets, other related month end close
tasks, audit requests, and any other special projects.
To be successful in this role you must be able to...

  • Perform day to day activities associated with the monthly close process ensuring that all transactions have proper support and are recorded accurately and timely.
  • Prepare monthly accounting reconciliations.
  • Responsible for entering Vendor Invoices in Netsuite and running check meeting to present and review outstanding invoices that need approval for payment.
  • Responsible for vendor maintenance - W-9s, contracts, banking information, invoice payments.
  • Completing credit card and bank reconciliation and T&E expense reimbursement in a timely manner.
  • Prepare reports and schedules for management on monthly or ad-hoc basis.
  • Provide external auditor assistance.
  • Assist with other projects undertaken by the finance team including helping to define best in class operating procedures.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) with a focus in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 2-3 years of accounting experience.
  • Understands requirements for documentation in work papers, disclosures and memos.
  • Demonstrated successful use of technology to improve process efficiency.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and accounting systems.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment with individuals across various organizational levels and in various departments.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Dependable and team player.
  • Commitment to highest standards of quality and integrity.
  • Exude a high degree of professionalism and treats others with respect.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on tasks with a high degree of difficulty.
  • Experience with Netsuite or other Oracle products
