The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for the sales support of existing customers and the maintenance of the account information in the PDS Online Database.
They operate in collaboration with Account Managers and Account Directors as the interface on day-to-day activity as it relates to EUT business.
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible to continually increase their knowledge, expertise and understanding of the PDS product offering.

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for the sales support of existing customers and the maintenance of the account information in the PDS Online Database. They operate in collaboration with Account Managers and Account Directors as the interface on day-to-day activity as it relates to EUT business. In addition, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible to continually increase their knowledge, expertise and understanding of the PDS product offering.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide quotations and product related material for inclusion in proposals and/or presentations
  • Support margin management guidelines
  • Support Request for Proposals (RFPs), Product Research, Customer Reporting and Order Management
  • Escalation and relationship management with PDS Employees, Partners and Distributors
  • Establish winning relationships with PDS Partners
  • Manage sales cycle including research, pricing, quoting, and ordering
  • Meet sales certification requirements
  • Help maintain client order entry Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Check stock levels and confirm orders with clients providing ETAs
  • Maintenance of customer information in applications
  • Understand entire PDS product offering as it relates to EUT, ability to address technical aspects and specific industry applications, pricing and research
  • Assist with seminars, conventions and marketing campaigns as needed
  • Communicate directly with customers as necessary
  • Update sales tracking data
  • Perform other duties as needed

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required

Job Related Experience:

  • 3+ years of successful technology sales experience, either in direct selling or sales support
  • Proven track record of goal attainment
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new and advanced technologies
  • Ability to contribute content to proposals and sales materials

  • Microsoft Office
  • Quoting System (Quosal, Quotewerks, Channel Online, etc.)
  • Quoting and Order Management
  • Pricing Program Comprehension
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to understand program benefits from partner community to customer and PDS (pricing, terms, trade-ins, eligibility, etc.)
  • Ability to assist in high level road mapping of client standards within EUT
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A self-starter who can effectively work within a strong team culture
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • System navigation of partner portal applications for order tracking, pricing escalations, etc.
  • Negotiation with partners and distributors
