As a Marketing Development Specialist, you'll help generate a healthy sales pipeline by nurturing, qualifying and engaging leads from our target market. If you're the type to respond immediately to invites and keep all your appointments, chat comfortably with strangers at parties, and you've got a wonderful telephone voice (and love showing it off), this is the role for you.


What You'll Do as a Marketing Development Specialist


  • Nurture and respond to inbound leads and schedule qualifying calls
  • Qualify inbound leads using marketing tools, telephone calls, and email
  • Continuously nurture prior leads through telephone, email and social media engagement
  • Meet and exceed main objective of scheduling demos and discovery calls
  • Hit interactions per prospect and percentage of opportunities targets from MQLs
  • Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales development quotas
  • Complete and apply research to increase number of meetings attended
  • Collaborate within marketing and across customer and product-related functions
  • Developing messaging aligned with marketing campaigns
  • Provide insights and suggestions for refinement of our messaging
  • Maintain familiarity with Centercode's products, services, use cases and case studies
  • Understand our audience, value proposition, competitive position and differentiators
  • Learn and effectively navigate applicable sales processes, systems and tools

What You'll Need to Do the Job


  • Previous work experience at a SaaS or B2B company (1-3 years)
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication skills
  • Self-motivation with strong organizational skills
  • An ability to deliver engaging and convincing presentations
  • A desire to meet and/or exceed individual, team, and company goals
  • An enthusiasm and drive to learn about new technologies and businesses

What'll Give You an Edge


  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (incl. email, social)
  • Experience with CRM software and various prospecting tools
  • An understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
