The Calling:

The Content Copywriter will design, manage, and execute Branching Minds’s content marketing strategy. They will work closely with subject-matter experts to craft content that engages both prospects and customers and aligns with organizational messaging, branding, and voice. In this role, the CC will develop, project-manage, and optimize content long and short, ranging from blog posts to customer spotlights, webinars, podcasts, case studies, and more.

They will collaborate with colleagues in marketing, sales, product, impact learning science, partnerships and professional services to create compelling content that drives lead generation and showcases our industry expertise, product, and customer success stories.

The Content Copywriter reports to the Director of Marketing, and works closely with the Marketing team to ensure the continuous production of well-researched, compelling, and engaging content to drive marketing goals and sales objectives.

What You Will Achieve:

  • Bring creative ideas to the table, straying away from the norm to create impact in the industry.
  • Create written content of varying lengths including but not limited to: blogs, case studies, white papers, guides, eBooks, infographics, brochures. Determine what works and make it happen.
  • Maximize the value and reach of our content by turning high-performing assets into a set of derivative pieces that can be used in multiple channels abd help to define and manage the content distribution process, integrating content repurposing to ensure we are leveraging each content piece to the best of our ability.
  • Ensure that content conveys clear benefits to the target audience, adheres to our brand voice and personality, and meets quality standards.
  • Implement best practices for content creation, reuse, and optimization.
  • Coordinate with marketing director to ideate and create content for periodic campaigns and lead generation efforts
  • Utilizing research from Learning Science and outside sources to create new content to generate new leads and further BRM’s brand awareness and thought leadership
  • Work with the Product Lead to ensure consistent messaging across product-specific content.
  • Leverage the expertise within the industry to solidify our standing as an SME.
  • Daily use of HubSpot
  • Support other initiatives as required.

  • Former educator with strong understanding of MTSS/RTI/PBIS

  • Experience in content creation preferably within education space
  • Comfortable on camera and speaking to large audiences

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across complex cross-group organizations (Collaboration)

  • Ability to differentiate content based on our target audiences and answer the questions that keep them up at night (empathy)

Lucky Us If You:

(No biggie if you don’t)

  • Understanding of the basics of SEO (SEMrush preferably)
  • Experience using CMSs (Hubspot preferably)
  • Comfortable with video editing tools, video production, and audio recording and editing

Interview Process:

If we are a match you can expect a total of 2 steps in the interview process after the initial application

  • 30-minute Video/Phone Interview with the VP, Marketing & Communications
  • 45-minute Deep Dive with Marketing Team
  • Writing samples and general work samples will be requested

  • Base annual compensation for this role is $55,000 - $74,000 based on experience and expertise
