If so, the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Employer Brand team’s Social Media Marketing Specialist role could be perfect for you. About You You have a proven track record of managing organic and paid social marketing campaigns and programs while supporting multiple stakeholders. You are detailed oriented, love to plan, and can manage a wide range of campaigns across various social platforms. You have a passion for experimenting, testing, and scaling successful programs that amplify our messages with the right audiences at the right time to influence their decision to join AWS. Key job responsibilities • Work across teams to write, plan, and schedule timely social media content to educate various audiences about what it’s like to work at AWS. • Create visual content for various social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Snapchat. • Be responsive to AWS news, events, and initiatives that help tell our employer brand story. • Amplify social media content internally with employees to encourage engagement. • Regularly monitor and present data on social media trends, insights, learnings, and recommendations. A day in the life • Being creative and developing social media content that aligns with the company brand and engages with key audiences. • Partnering with multiple stakeholders to understand their business challenges and then providing recommendations for social campaigns that will make the biggest impact. • Thinking big about how AWS can grow its social presence and investigating ways to amplify AWS employer brand messages. About the team In this role, you will manage the creation and implementation of campaigns that help AWS tell the employer brand story worldwide. You will also partner with a team of creative, hardworking, and welcoming professionals who make working remotely exciting, collaborative, and engaging. You will report to the Social Media Marketing Manager for AWS Employer Brand, who will rely on your expertise to develop and implement social campaigns that build awareness and consideration of AWS as a great place to work.
  • BS/BA degree, preferably in marketing, business, communications, journalism, public relations or related fields.
  • Track record of driving adoption of new ideas and pioneering new approaches within your team or company.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise high-judgement, particularly in narrow time frames.
  • Proven ability to be successful both as an individual contributor and in a team environment.
  • Ability to create precise and effective communications both internal and external audiences.
  • Excellent judgement and outstanding attention to detail.
