Core Responsibilities
  • Lead organic social media strategy, including growth/engagement on existing platforms and staying on top of new platforms and trends
  • Own the development and execution of multiple shopping center social media content calendars, including writing captions in the brand voice, drafting creative briefs and identifying UGC to feature on center channels while maintaining The Company’s aesthetic standards
  • Capture engaging, organic content (photos and videos) for use across the platforms
  • Lead the centers’ social initiatives, including working with platform partners to best optimize our strategy and execution
  • Work closely with Influencers to develop relationships, integrate content into our social media strategy and collaborate on ways to build brand engagement and promote retailers
  • Work with Marketing team and graphic designer to develop custom assets and compelling content to promote centers and support retail partners
  • Monitor social media channels, perform social listening, and share insights with key stakeholders
  • Execute paid media strategy to grow followers and to share performance insights from organic content
  • Manage community engagement and set direction on how we respond to and engage with retailers, influencers, our communities, and consumers on social
  • Create and execute sweepstakes and social media contests
  • Stay current on all social media platform updates and make recommendations on how to best optimize brand channel performance
  • Track social media analytics and present monthly reports on social media performance and competitor activity; monitor SEO and analytics to ensure active engagement and results
  • Set KPIs for social media campaigns, such as targets for reach and engagement, and measure the effectiveness of our efforts
Qualifications/Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or PR) Please note, we would make an exception for an exceptional candidate without a degree – in this case 6+ years of experience would be appreciated.
  • 3-5 years of fulltime social media/content strategy experience
  • Passionate about social media with 3+ years of social media experience, including content development (copy + visual), social analytics and community management
  • Deep knowledge of and interest in the ever-changing social media landscape
  • Strong visual aesthetic and ability to understand what makes compelling, engaging content
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills
  • Creative thinker/planner who is not afraid to suggest out-of-the-box ideas
  • Multi-tasker with strong time management and organizational skills and the ability to think on your feet
  • Flexible to evolving responsibilities in a fast-growing company
  • High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Proficient at using the latest social media monitoring/analysis tools and platforms, specifically Instagram and Facebook (experience with Twitter, LinkedIn and TikTok is a plus) as well as content creation and scheduling tools
  • Strong competency in Office software (Outlook, Excel etc.)
  • Experience with Adobe tools including Lightroom, Photoshop and InDesign a plus
