International Partnership Coordinator 🔥


Girls Who Code is an international non-profit organization working to close the gender gap in technology. Through our programs, we are leading the movement to inspire, educate, and equip young women with the skills to pursue careers in technology fields. Girls Who Code is searching for a dynamic, results-oriented Clubs Success Specialists to support international volunteer Facilitators in the implementation of our free Clubs Program, including adoption of our custom curriculum delivery system, Girls Who Code HQ. Volunteer Facilitators will be based in Canada, the U.K. and India. The ideal candidate has experience cultivating and maintaining relationships with volunteers, providing high-quality customer support, and driving adoption of technology systems. They bring experience working with and coaching educators and a passion for reaching students at scale.



This is a contracted, hourly (25 hours per week) position from September through December, with the option to renew the contract. We are hiring for additional International Partnership Coordinators based in Canada and the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Secure, manage and cultivate partnerships with local community-based organizations to support the expansion of our Clubs program
  • Conduct research, landscape analysis and synthesize information to target schools, libraries and sites for Clubs
  • Create a comprehensive outreach plan with the goal of educating partners about our Club model.
  • Work closely with Community Partner Managers to ensure that the recruitment strategy being implemented is effective and meeting recruitment targets
  • Coordinate responses to inbound email and web questions
  • Submit weekly status updates and meet monthly application targets
  • Meet weekly with a manager for 1:1 check-ins and weekly team meetings
  • Represent Girls Who Code at targeted meetings, community events and conferences to increase brand recognition and increase applications to our Clubs
  • Host information sessions and applications workshops to support families with completing applications for our Clubs
  • Convert interested applicants to completing the Clubs application through phone banking and additional individualized follow up
  • Travel to areas within assigned geographies as necessary for community partner cultivation and management

Requirements

  • Passion for our mission to close the gender gap in technology fields through a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Prior experience managing school and/or community relationships
  • Ability to navigate and operate comfortably within different cultures 
  • Successful track record in setting priorities, shaping processes, and executing quickly and effectively
  • Data driven: the ability to track outcomes through set goals  
  • Excellent communication, presentation and people skills with an ability to balance priorities, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Comfortable working independently and being a part of a remote, distributed team
  • Ability and willingness to travel as necessary 
  • Comfortable working effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines and goals
  • Proactive and self-motivated; you follow-through with projects from start to finish
  • Detail-oriented, with superb organizational skills
  • Must be highly knowledgeable of the community in and surrounding the specific region
  • Experience with Google Suite and Salesforce preferred
  • Knowledge of and/or interest in computer science, technology, and/or education preferred
