Controller 🔥
We are a growing solar company looking for an experienced Controller to join our Accounting team!
We are a UT based company offering remote work. UT/CO candidates preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounting Team
- Prepare financial statements & reporting to GAAP
- Assist with month end, balance sheet reconciliations, GL, chart of accounts, job costing, AP, budget & credit card administration
- Implement software integrations + drive efficiencies company-wide
- Assist with outside audits, sales tax filings, and vendor management
- Help to strenghten internal controls
- Oversee taxes, payroll, billing, AR, cash application and collections
- Have experience with bookkeeping, insurance administration, ROI analysis, banking, inventory management, and fixed assets
- Voluntarily look to and take on additional duties
- 3+ years Managerial experience required
- Accounting Bachelor's Degree required
- 5+ years accounting experience, preferably in the duties listed above
- Construction/Job Cost Accounting experience a plus
- Comfortable working in a high growth, fast paced environment
- Strong desire to coach and develop self + those to be managed
