The Sales Coach is an essential part of the U.S. Lawns Franchise Support Team, providing sales leadership, coaching and ongoing training to Franchisees, Market Managers and Business Developers who work for franchisees, and Inside Sales Representatives. This position acts as an internal sales expert to help measure and drive the performance of revenue generating sales activities within local franchise territories. The Sales Coach also plays a key role in providing franchisee feedback and making recommendations to the support team & management as a collaborative team member.


RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Collaborates with Brand Executives to develop system wide sales initiatives that drive revenue to local franchise territories
    • Provides ongoing sales coaching to Franchisees to improve local sales performance
    • Execute prospecting activities in the field with franchisees, market managers, business developers and attend scheduled appointments with potential customers
    • Assist franchisees with presenting proposals and closing business
    • Mentors and coordinates the efforts of 30+ local Business Developers or owners responsible for prospecting, lead generation, proposal generation, and the closing of new sales
    • Creates sales training programs to be presented through e-learning modules, webinars, and in-person events
    • Evaluates the sales activity efforts of local Business Developers and provides sales metric analytics to Franchisees to help them better manage their employees
    • Hosts sales boot camps and assists in the development of sales summits & conferences
    • Provides direction and oversight to Inside Sales Representatives (as assigned), coordinating their efforts to improve all local sales initiatives
    • Develops sales scripts to be used on the phone or in-person for Franchisees, Business Developers, and Inside Sales Representatives
    • Reviews calls and data entered into the USL CRM to ensure accuracy
    • Generates prospect lists to be utilized by Franchisees, Business Developers, and Inside Sales Representatives
    • Increases Franchisee participation in the Business Developer program
    • Creates and implements programs to monitor local sales performance including monthly performance and revenue growth


QUALIFICATIONS
    • 5 years’ experience in sales management, preferably in a B2B service business
    • 5 years’ experience in telemarketing and telesales
    • B.S degree preferred; advanced degree is a plus or equivalent experience is acceptable
    • Experience in B2B contact list/data sourcing
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Computer skills, including a working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
    • Ability to communicate with and influence diverse groups effectively
    • Possess good inter-personal skills and ability to interact with management, franchise owners, team members and vendors
    • Excellent project, planning and time management skills
    • Solid written and very strong verbal communication skills
    • Ability to travel overnight up to 50% - 60%
