Digital Marketing Specialist, Content and Seo 🔥

Role Description:

Talent Systems is seeking a motivated, data-driven, and extremely detail-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist to help take our Content and SEO initiatives to the next level. In this role, you will assist with the planning and execution of Content and SEO projects across Talent Systems’ global ecosystem.

You don’t mind when your day swings from pulling performance data to writing copy and you understand how those things fit together. You’re willing to step outside your box to pitch in wherever extra hands are needed.


  • Content
    • Support all aspects of new content initiatives including:
      • Research and complete project briefs, including keyword research, curating questions to be answered, and identifying linking opportunities
      • Act as first QA reviewer for all content to be published
      • Upload and update content in Wordpress
    • Generate data-driven, research-backed content ideas
    • Assist in the creation of content strategy for newly acquired properties with the Director of Content and SEO.
    • Apply SEO best practices during all phases of content development to ensure content is fully optimized
  • Technical SEO
    • Successfully execute SEO tactics, including ongoing evaluation of keywords, content and metadata, campaign performance tracking, and link building.
    • Monitor websites for errors on an ongoing basis, recommending and executing on fixes
  • Social Media
    • Monitor Talent Systems social media accounts for follower comments, escalating any that need a response to the appropriate department
    • Assist with launch, upkeep and content creation for new social media accounts
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Ongoing monitoring of website performance using Google Analytics
    • Identify, diagnose, report and make recommendations with regards to website anomalies
    • Pull monthly performance metrics and maintain scorecard data, including website, SEO and content performance.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Solid web copywriting skills and experience with Wordpress. Basic HTML/CSS experience is a plus
  • Competency with Google Analytics
  • Competency with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets), including concepts such as pivot tables and using formulas for automation
  • Previous hands-on experience with SEO project execution, such as on-page updates, keyword research
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing with emphasis on SEO and Content
  • American English fluency (familiarity with British English is helpful)

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Keywords Everywhere, Sparktoro, SEMrush, Monday.com, Trello, Canva, Later
  • Experience marketing SaaS in a mixed B2C and B2B environment
