Junior Graphic Designer - Remote 🔥


Alpha Media is looking for a full-time, remote Junior Graphic Designer to join the Corporate Digital department that is preferably based in the Eastern or Central time zones. Alpha Media owns and operates 207 stations in 44 markets across the United States.

Reporting to the VP, Digital, the Graphic Designer is responsible for designing and creating sales and promotions related content to ensure maximum visibility and engagement with external audiences. This role will be crucial in the success of local and national sales campaigns and events.

You will work closely with Corporate and Local Sales, Content and Promotions teams by designing and developing contests, tune-in creative as well as presentations and spec or sold digital assets. These tasks will be delegated to you by two ticket systems and you will be expected to complete these tasks to meet desired deadlines. Tasks can include, but are not limited to: presentations, web advertisements, flyers, posters, etc.

In addition, you will be relied upon to develop and follow station style-guides, content strategies, syndication guidelines and develop content-initiatives that are efficient and scalable. You will work closely with the VP, Digital and Director, Product/Branding to understand the branding direction of our radio stations, talent and live music venues, and communicate succinctly to corresponding markets.

Candidate must be able to handle multiple priorities and projects at any given time with a high degree of proficiency and accuracy. A portfolio of work that displays a genuine passion for sales based content is required.

  • Plan, manage and execute the overall strategies to increase reach and click through rate of sales related web advertisements
  • Design and development of sales presentations, as well as all other sales design requests
  • Create content for web, emails, social communities and mobile environments to spec
  • Ensure web content is meeting needs and interests of visitors by analyzing digital metrics and reporting findings to the team and other internal stakeholders
  • Solicit and respond to user feedback/maintain customer service needs through digital channels
  • Assist Creative Director and Art Director with station, jock, venue and event branding

We are looking for the individual who meets the minimum requirements below:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • A minimum of two years in graphic design / social media marketing and video production.
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud tools and other top social media content creation tools with ability to task manage effectively.
  • Experience working in a team environment working closely with clients and co-workers.
  • Experience overseeing the daily operation of social media campaigns.
  • High degree of experience in traditional as well as digital design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience dealing with constantly evolving deadlines in an ever-changing landscape.
  • Must be available and willing to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Must be reachable via phone and/or email after business hours.
  • Extremely knowledgeable in all G Suite systems and services

Preference may be given to candidates who meet the above requirements and have the following:

  • Knowledge of evolving social media platforms.
