Our Exciting Opportunity!
This is a senior role in the Account Based Marketing team and will be specifically accountable for building Ericsson’s reputation, relationship and revenue with one of its largest and most significant accounts: AT&T. This role sits in the Marketing team and is focused on supporting Ericsson Sales Account team dedicated to AT&T (Ericsson Global Customer Unit AT&T aka GCU ATT) with their marketing needs. The individual will offer clear leadership and direction to GCU ATT on how best to inspire and engage their customers and then partner with other members of the marketing team to design and deliver effective campaigns and marketing initiatives, that meet their business goals.



This position is officially located in Plano, TX, USA. Remote candidates also considered. Relocation may be available for the right candidate.
  • S/he will be a respected partner with GCU ATT to understand their business operations, commercial priorities and offer clear and pragmatic direction relating to all marketing activities.
  • S/he will be tasked with building a credible annual marketing plan that that meets the CU’s business objectives, comprising multiple campaigns and initiatives within an agreed timeframe and budget.
  • S/he will design and deliver the marketing campaigns and initiatives in partnership with other members of the M&C team.
  • Campaigns and initiatives may consist of:
o Digital Marketing Campaigns, Social Media, Lead generation/nurture/conversion
o Experiential marketing: events, roadshows, workshops, webinars, customer engagement and lead capture, nurture and conversion.
o Traditional marketing elements advertising, sales collateral, videos, newsletters
  • S/he will be part of the NA Customer Account Marketing team and the GCU ATT’s single Point of Contact for Marketing and a part of GCU ATT Leadership team.
  • S/he will collaborate with member of Business Areas (BAs) to understand the strategic business priorities of Ericsson on a global and regional level.

  • A strong leader. Able to listen, understand and lead through influence and gravitas.
  • Able to navigate global organizations with matrix structure.
  • Learning agility to absorb how to manage campaigns from start to finish. Listen to stakeholders, set out clear direction, gather consensus, partner with multiple stakeholders to design and deliver the campaigns.
  • Create a comprehensive marketing plan including leveraging Account Based Marketing principles. Able to ‘sell in’ the plan using understanding of the CU’s objectives, complexities of the business and realties of the budget and time constraints.
  • Ability to communicate with executive audiences via excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Build relationships and respect from counterparts in AT&T marketing team.
  • Routinely demonstrate a thorough understanding of Ericsson’s value, products, solutions
  • Effectively utilize Ericsson internal and external cross functional capabilities building trust and strong support across Customer Units, Business Areas, Regional and Group Functions to ensure joint success

Education/Experience requirements: BA/BS degree required; MBA desired / preferred. 10-15+ years of leadership experience across several key areas: Field Marketing, Sales, Strategic Marketing, Account Based Marketing, Digital Marketing, Go to Market strategy and solution management, business development, consulting. At least 5-10 years of relevant Technology or Telecoms B2B Sales or Marketing experience in relevant companies. Experience with Salesforce and/or Marketo a plus.
