Our client is looking for a senior copywriter with a background in social media to create campaigns,.
This is a contract position slated to go for 5 months with the possibility of extension.
Understand the primary audience for each platform, how they engage content and the content opportunities each platform offers.
Develop standalone creative posts as well as creative campaigns that are comprised of static and video assets.
Collaborate effectively with team members-designers, art directors, editors, creative directors and marketing partners.
Qualifications: - 5 years of experience with a concentration on organic social media - Experience working on national brands at the agency or brand level where quick turnaround times.

Our client is looking for a senior copywriter with a background in social media to create campaigns,. This is a contract position slated to go for 5 months with the possibility of extension. This job will be remote.

Job responsibilities:

  • Develop compelling, engaging copy for a variety of social media channels and asset types to drive consumer awareness, fan engagement and conversation
  • Understand the cultural zeitgeist and what is resonating in social media conversation
  • Leverage effective use of tactical copy approaches on social media like character counts, hashtags, link in bios, and other features
  • Clearly understand and execute social media copy in the brand’s tone of voice
  • Assist with consumer facing social copy as well as creative social briefs to capture the essence of the final campaign product
  • Review and edit social media scripts and ensure brand resonance
  • Review, edit and revise social media brand guideline toolkits
  • Create strategic, conceptual solutions that are rooted in the brand
  • Be an advocate for and a practitioner of creative that is challenging, innovative, and culturally relevant.
  • Understand the primary audience for each platform, how they engage content and the content opportunities each platform offers (eg. Stories, Polls, Reels, etc.).
  • Develop standalone creative posts as well as creative campaigns that are comprised of static and video assets.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members—designers, art directors, editors, creative directors and marketing partners.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with a concentration on organic social media
  • Experience working on national brands at the agency or brand level where quick turnaround times & robust volume of content are the norm
  • Excellent collaborator across highly matrixed teams, with clear, excellent communication around project status, deadlines and roadblocks.
  • Strong understanding of best practices across social media platforms
  • Strong portfolio of national brand work.
  • Experience collaborating with external agencies and vendors.

Pay: $73.00 per hour
