Campus Policy Manager 🔥

End Rape On Campus, an initiative of Civic Nation, seeks a Campus Policy Manager. Reporting to the Executive Director, this candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing EROC’s Campus Accountability Map + Tool, a digital platform aimed to empower student survivors and their communities with the ability to compare high-level statistics on campus sexual violence and more. The Campus Policy Manager keeps a pulse on what is happening with campus Title IX policies in an ever-changing environment. The Campus Policy Manager has an expert-level fluency in Title IX, and understands not only what good policy looks like on paper, but in practice, and is able to read a campus’ policy on sexual violence and Title IX proceedings and immediately identify weak spots that could potentially be harmful to survivors. The Campus Policy Manager is comfortable working directly to support students in their own efforts to reform their campus policy through activism, and has a strong understanding of effective activism to reform Title IX on campus. This is a perfect role for someone who was a survivor advocate and activist in college.

OVERVIEW OF END RAPE ON CAMPUS

EROC [1] works to end campus sexual violence through direct support for survivors and their communities, prevention through education, and policy reform at the campus, local, state, and federal levels. EROC envisions a world where each individual has an educational experience free from violence, and until then, all survivors are believed, trusted, and supported.

EROC is a national leader on issues of sexual violence in educational settings and works across numerous tactical areas of efforts to end sexual violence, including but not limited to rapid response, advising on state and federal policy, driving communications strategy around key issues, groundbreaking research and resources for survivors, direct services, and more. EROC’s work is driven by its Centering the Margins framework, which aims to address and fill the disparity of resources between different communities, with the intention of centering historically excluded and systemically marginalized student survivors.
