Lob is looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Manager, Social Media to join our growing marketing team. In this role, you'll set the social strategy and create exposure for content that promotes Lob in the hearts and minds of our core audiences. This is an exciting time to join Lob, as the company prepares to level up and transform its brand from the ground up. As we head towards IPO, this is your moment to make your mark! 

Reporting to the Head of Brand, you will work with various stakeholders including creative, content, demand generation, product marketing, recruiting, and more. The ideal individual for this role will feel comfortable setting strategy and managing details, have strong editing abilities, enjoy original content creation, be able to manage multiple projects concurrently, and be able to succeed in a fast-moving organization. They’ll value the importance of brand consistency while championing the audience at every touchpoint . They are well versed in the latest social trends, channels, and channel features and will be a subject matter expert across the leading social channels for the company. Displaying quality, accuracy, and willingness to provide their opinion on all the team’s content is a must. This person will serve a vital role on the team, helping grow our brand awareness and affinity. 

 Key responsibilities:

  • Define, deliver and maintain social media strategies across key social channels. 
  • Be the champion of the audience: ensure that the editorial agenda serves both company needs and audience needs.
  • Build and lead a measurement plan to ensure that the content strategy is rooted in performance, evaluated correctly, and demonstrates business value. The role will be responsible for growing our community of followers and boosting engagement. 
  • Create playbooks across channels to ensure our brand has a consistent identity and storytelling
  • Analyze social conversations, trends and audience needs to inform strategic and creative development for social content. 
  • Build our employer brand across relevant channels
  • Ideate, create and deliver innovative content beyond existing e-books, report and analytics to include interviews, snackable content, live events and announcements. 
  • Collaborate with and support partners in content creation and optimization.
  • Interest in ideating and creating new, innovative social content based on best practices and trends.

The ideal candidate: 

  • 5+ years relevant social media marketing experience
  • Ideally agency side experience or within in-house teams at growing companies
  • Ability to think strategically and execute flawlessly. 
  • Demonstrated experience adapting, learning new skill sets, and working efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Entrepreneurial with relationship building skills and experience executing on multiple tasks with cross-functional partners simultaneously
  • Resourceful and creative storyteller, with innovative ideas for reaching audiences
  • Leading with curiosity and creativity to be meaningful to audiences
  • Results driven and responsible for delivering against KPIs 
  • Passionate about social media with deep knowledge in the space is a must. 
  • Experience in both B2B and B2C is preferred
