About the Role
As a Deployment Engineer, you'll be a part of our engineering team building software to ensure successful deployment and integration of our solutions. You will be working directly on customer impacting applications. AKASA is based in South San Francisco. As a company, we embraced remote work before COVID-19. We consider ourselves experts in working collaboratively wherever our team members happen to reside.
What You'll Do
- Automate solutions to work with payer websites
- Automate solutions to integrate directly with external APIs
- Work with engineering team to execute implementation work including requirements analysis, configuration, testing, and deployment activities
- Work with client teams to guide, configure, test, and troubleshoot integrations
- Expand our platform to improve developer speed, and our system’s reliability
- Help maintain high standards of availability and automation by being part of our on-call rotation
- Support us in optimizing the customer experience and pursuing successful interactions from onboarding to renewal
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (ideally with a STEM focus) and/or formal development training from bootcamp or similar
- 1+ years practical experience with Javascript
- Experience with Python is a plus
- Ability to effectively manage goals and deadlines in a remote environment
- Customer-oriented
