About You

As the Supervisor for Commission Support, you will be responsible for the management of the commission support team to ensure timely response on issues, full resolution to advisor commission issues and act as the point of escalation for any advisor relationships in regards to commission support issues. You are a strong team player and have a reputation for integrity, accountability and ownership.

What you’ll do and how you’ll have an impact

  • Supervise a team of Commission Support Specialists
  • Establish and implement processes, documentation, training and team communication around commission support inquiries.
  • Establish and supervise efficiencies and best practises around commission support inquiries to provide timely resolution.
  • Establish, track and hold accountability to the team for SLAs associated with commission support inquiries.
  • Own the advisor experience related to commission inquires, portals, special problems, and resolution.
  • Obtain and assign any new Invest participants to a dedicated Commission Support Specialist as a value add to the participant in working commission support inquiries.
  • Act as the escalation point for any commission inquiry, providing support on provider and advisor facing email communications or calls.
  • If escalated, ensure and validated commission support inquiry correction is done in a time frame committed to and communicate of closure to the advisor.
  • Work with Advisor Finance team to ensure commission policies and timelines are being enforced and met.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Minimum 5 years or equivalent of financial analysis/sales compensation/commission experience.
  • Experience in telecommunications sales support, billing, commissions processing or accounting.
  • Ability to work accurately with great attention to detail in a high volume environment with minimal supervision
  • Experience using relational data to generate reporting
  • Past experience in customer-facing/customer service roles helpful towards future success.
  • Efficient with Google G-suite, Microsoft Office and various business software applications.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel essential. (Vlookups, Macros, Pivot tables. advanced formulas etc.)
