Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with a team to drive revenue growth from new and existing large CPG/Pharma clients and top advertising agencies
  • Lead a portfolio of Reddit’s most strategic accounts in the CPG/Pharma vertical: be a business owner, forecast revenue performance accurately, maintain a healthy sales pipeline
  • Win new business: map client organizations, uncover client objectives, forge new relationships and educate CPG/Pharma marketers about Reddit
  • Collaborate with Reddit’s media planning and ad operations team to meet and exceed clients’ marketing goals
  • Shape Reddit’s early-stage CPG/Pharma product roadmap by aggregating and sharing client feedback and campaign metrics with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Provide thought leadership and act as a Reddit evangelist at industry events.
  • Lead and run engaging client meetings from agenda to final presentation, assigning roles to all meeting participants as needed, identifying outcomes for meetings, and setting client expectations ahead of time.
  • Leverage data from multiple sources (internal & external) to inform client strategies and pitch proposals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients to communicate major platform updates, releases, changes, and/or opportunities that will deepen or expand the relationship.
  • Provide strategic and consultative advice to clients in order to uplevel and grow the relationship.
  • Mentor and train other team members.

Required Skills/Qualifications: 

  • 8+ years of experience in online media sales with a track record of winning new business
  • Proven experience managing client and agency relationships up through C-level executives
  • Exposure/experience in the CPG/Pharma vertical, digital media ad sales, and/or measurement solutions.
  • Subject matter expertise in the social media landscape and native advertising
  • Demonstrated top-performer achievement against sales targets
  • User-first orientation
  • Willingness to be scrappy
  • BA / BS degree or equivalent work experience
