Marketing Operations Specialist

About the Role

The Marketing Operations Specialist will be a highly collaborative analytical thinker able to develop and implement creative solutions to operational challenges. You will also be directly responsible for the execution, optimization, and reporting of our marketing events, emails and nurture programs.

This role can be remote and reports to the Sr. Manager of Marketing Operations.


  • Be highly knowledgeable of the systems supporting LaunchDarkly’s marketing programs, especially our automation platform and processes, helping to ensure that best practices for data management, workflow automation and reporting are consistently implemented and adapted

  • Working with stakeholders across marketing to build out and maintain our Marketing Nurture system

  • Provide full-service support to Demand Generation team and ensure their programs run as expected

  • Manage day-to-day operations by coordinating directly with cross-functional groups to ensure the best possible user experience

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of marketing operations and automation experience

  • Marketing Automation Skills (Implementation, Integrations, Management, Best Practices)

  • Strong background and working knowledge of Marketo and Salesforce

  • Experience with Webinar Platforms, Bizible, Litmus, Unbounce and other marketing tools

  • Experience of working with Global teams and offices

  • Experience working with project management software, Asana as a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong team player with a positive attitude

  • Independent, motivated, and excited to roll-up your sleeves and get things done

  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation
