Creative Writer, Strategist, & Producer 🔥

We’re looking for an in-house Creative Producer who can show and tell the hell out of the Shinesty brand and products. If you have more creative ideas than you know what to do with, well, let’s make some ads together. If you like pleasing and offending using humor, our door is open for you.

The right candidate will have a great sense of humor and know digital advertising performance marketing best practices. They will help us acquire new customers efficiently using primarily direct-response video advertisements. If you want to work with the weirdest team that exists to remind the world to not take itself so seriously, then we might be a great fit for you.

Requirements

What You’ll Do:

  • Strategize and pitch creative campaigns for new product launches, seasonal holidays, and evergreen creative that hooks and converts new and existing audiences
  • Concept, write, shoot, and produce entertaining (with an emphasis in video) creative for our product lines
  • Attend and direct video shoots
  • Work with in-house and contracted production teams to create hilarious, high quality creative
  • Stay in touch with current ad and creative trends in the performance marketing and organic space, adapting to trends and regularly innovating to stay ahead and push creative advertising boundaries
  • Identify and capitalize on winning creatives and trends. Work with in house editors and channel managers to iterate and ultimately improve creative performance
  • Identify and troubleshoot poor-performing creatives and take learnings into account for future launches
  • Work with production associate to coordinate various creative logistics in order to bring your idea to life (models, props, locations, contractors, etc.)

 

What You Have:

  • A great sense of humor
  • 2-3+ years of video advertising experience at an agency, brand, or performance marketing company (with a portfolio to back it up)
  • Great understanding of direct response video ads on paid social and other paid media ad networks (especially Facebook and Instagram)
  • Pre-production skills such as scripting, storyboarding, casting, and coordinating some creative logistical needs
  • Ability to assess creative risks prior to producing creative assets
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly and adeptly about how to address problems as they arise
  • The ability to prioritize your work and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A passion for working with a team, as well as independently
  • An exceptional eye for detail
