Finding and recommending ways to improve the way government digital services are procured and built is one of the highest-leverage ways we help fulfill our mission. \n\nPosition type: Full time, exempt \n\nPosition summary \nThis position is responsible for: \n●  Building job descriptions and processes from the ground up with hiring managers, with a keen eye for removing potential biases\n●  Collect feedback and retrospect on processes, iterating to improve \n●  Shepherd candidates through the process from first touch to close \n●  Collect data on our hiring processes and candidates to identify any gaps, especially as it relates to inclusive hiring or process inefficiencies \n●  Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of recruiting team \n●  Maintaining our ATS (Lever), ensuring folks are added with the right permissions, cleaning up tags and sources, ensuring forms and email templates are correct and updated \n●  Running reports and collecting data on our hiring processes and candidates to identify any gaps -- especially as it relates to inclusive hiring or process inefficiencies \n●  Sharing pipeline metrics regularly (standard reports + running ad hoc reports) with the leadership team \n●  Connects with people in ways that generate enthusiasm and commitment \n●  Collaborating with leadership on workforce planning \n●  Building job descriptions and processes from the ground up with hiring managers, with a keen eye for removing potential biases \n●  Collecting feedback from team/retrospecting on processes and iterating to improve \n●  Shepherding candidates through the process from first touch to close \n●  Work closely with interview teams to create and exceptional candidate interview process and experience \n●  Sourcing and identifying candidates with a focus on bringing in more candidates from underrepresented backgrounds \n\nRequired skills \n● Technical skills: \n ○  Experience working with hiring managers to craft a role from the ground up, including creating job descriptions and unbiased processes, questions, and rubrics \n ○  Experience leading candidates through the hiring process, from first touch to close \n ○  Experience managing recruiters or recruiting coordinators \n ○  Experience with workforce planning \n\n●Experience: \n ○ Experience partnering with organizational leaders to develop hiring plans, understand urgencies, and shifting priorities\n ○ Experience working with hiring managers to craft a role from the ground up, including crafting job descriptions and unbiased processes, questions, and rubrics\n ○ Experience leading candidates through the hiring process, from first touch to close\n ○ Experience with sourcing, identifying, and sending cold-reach outs to candidates\n ○ Recruiting or HR experience at a small to medium sized company\n\n●Years of experience: \n ○ 3-5 yrs recruitment experience including leading a team, either formally or informally\n\n●Education: \n ○ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience\n\n●Attributes:\n ○ Excellent written and verbal communication skills\n ○ An adaptive, empathetic, collaborative, and positive mindset\n ○ Highly resourceful, reliable, and detail-oriented \n\nOther requirements\nResidency: \n ○ Lived in United States at least 3 years out of the last 5 years\n\nClearance: \n ○ Able to attain and maintain Public Trust clearance or higher (An active green card or citizenship is required)\n\n\n\nCompensation: $130,000- $140,000 USD annually\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPerks working with NAVA\n● 20 days of PTO accrued, 13 days paid federal holidays, 5 floating holidays, unlimited sick leave\n● NAVA covers 90% of medical premiums & 100% of  vision & dental premiums for their employees\n● 16 weeks of fully paid parental leave and weekly meal deliveries during leave\n● 401k contributions match at 4% of your salary\n● Flexible work arrangements \n● $1000 new home office set up budget and monthly phone allowance\n● $2,000 annual tuition and professional development  budget\n● Equity stock options\n● Employee referral program\n● Short and Long-Term Disability Insurance\n● Life and Accidental Death \n● Diverse, inclusive, highly collaborative and vibrant culture fostering remote work! \n\n\nLocation\nRemote or from one of Nava’s offices in DC or SF.\n\nRemote work locations: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, DC, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington. \n*If you are not living in one of the states listed above, unfortunately, you will not be considered for a position at this time. \n\nNava PBC equal opportunity employer that is deeply committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
